Was wandering what the next step would be for more power while maintaining dependability. Tranny was done by Mike L., Suncoast IV w/ 1057 torque converter and transfer case brace. Have Afe stage II Intake, Magnaflow turbo back no Cat, TTS Dual Lift pumps, Shimmed fuel valve, Blocker Plate, Nexus Guages, Cognito Tie rod kit and pitman/idler braces. Have EFI Live, but not a high HP tune. Was thinking about the GT40R and the high HP tune. Is there something that should be done first before the turbo, for more power or so nothing breaks. I won't need head studs with this combo right? Thanks for any help.

If you really want a turbo, look up Mcrat. He is testin a gt42r and said it outperforms the 40....

Read a little about it. I do a little towing, so I believe the 40R is a better option for me.
