Nick, from all I have read your filter sounds fantastic but I do have a question yet. If it is a 2 micron filter and the OEM is 7 micron what does the OEM do other than having the water separator? Is a water separator even needed if you use additive? Why not just get rid of the OEM filter? I'm not trying to be difficult, just trying to understand the system as a whole.
