I am new to the forums and would like some advice. I am looking to acquire a Chevy with the Duramax/Allison to tow a travel trailer weighing approximately 7,000 lbs. I am going to be looking at a 2003 Crew Cab at a local dealer. What should I be looking for when inpecting the truck. (I have always dealt with gassers).

Grab the vin, post here in the Vin check forum for one. Look to see if it's had guages, IE pluged hole in RH exhaust manifold, pull trans dip stick and smell if fluids burnt...
