New to the site, but I have been a Duramax owner for over two years. Diesels have always been in my family. My dad had an '81 Blazer and a '85 Suburban both with 6.2's, an '81 Chevette with a diesel, a '92 Ram 250 with a cummins, and then a '96 f-250 with a 7.3 turbo. My brother got a '02 Duramax, so I decided I needed one too.

My brother and I have been Duramax lovers ever since. He has been a member for awhile and he keyed me into this site.

My truck is a '03 Chevy Silverado k2500HD with 6.6 Duramax/ 5-speed Allison. Four door, short bed, LT, Charcoal exterior, and grey interior. I'll try to get pics up shortly.

Welcome!! This is a great forum for all of your Duramax needs. Word of advice-when researching, grab a 6 pack, a bad of Doritos and kick back and read, read, read. I spent hours beyond hours reading good information!!

I agree with everything above with one exception, lock your wallet away or you will need two full time jobs to support your diesel habbit.:D Welcome from the north of you.

My brother and I just installed clearance lights on my '03 with the help of tophog's DIY.

Glad there is a place like this to get great information.
