just wanted to say hello. I have an 05 LT crew cab that's completely stock. I'm looking for advice on a programmer something that i dont have to worry about the tranny or EGT'S. I was thinking of the edge ez-module. Also do i have to change my exhaust with a new programmer? Also, if you buy a used programmer do you have to have it reprogrammed for your truck?

Diablo Sport predator on the 40 or 65 hp setting and a mildly conservative foot would not require you to add exhaust, but it sure would not hurt. Remember with extra fuel comes extra heat.....your EGTs WILL climb, no way around that. If you are considering purchasing a used programmer, be sure it is not vin locked , some chevrolet products will do that.

It kinda depends on what you plan on doing with your truck. Predator, Hypertech or Superchips are all great choices and all will offer better mileage in the process.
