Hey Smoking

here a pic of an LLY engine (is the lest Injector (LLY):

Untie all high pressure lines, remove leakage connector (take the clip away and pull connector out), untie the Metric 8mm screw under the injector and pull the injector out. Some Injectors are easy to remove and some are harder. Good luck!!!!

Not to hijack but i'm in the same boat. the female end of the electrical connector, does that need to come off?
Right now I have the lines disconnected and all just don't really know how to pull the injector to replace the washer and o-ring.
From reading the post by MDE I think I'm going about it all wrong..:

Be careful with that clip!!;) They tend to get away from you.

I've pulled several sets with no issues. Usually you can put a large screwdriver under the clamp, after removing the bolt, and pop the injector up.

I'll try that again and be a lil harder on it, I didn't try to hard the first thousand times. I can handle cuttin up my hand but not my injector or worse.:

Thats right, use nose pliers to remove the clip ==> don't loose it

There's also an injector pulling tool. The drawing is of it being used on an LB7, but it works on the LLY also.

Install the J 44639 to the fuel injector brackets.
Pull back on the J 44639 in one steady motion, until the fuel injector breaks free from its seat.
Remove the J 44639 .
