Ok, trying to install the factory fogs on my 2006 HD. I've got the holes cut, lights mounted, relay put in, switch put in...and that's where I'm at.

I can't find any existing wiring in place, and the kit I have instructs me to insert a pic in the bottom of the BCM. I've a little intimidated about that. The kit came with a harness that plugs into both lights, a ground, and a pin/connector at the other end that plugs into the bottom of the BCM.

For those of you that had the wiring already in place...was it visible? I couldn't see any plugs anywhere. Just wondering if it might already be there and just very well hidden?

What I'm looking at right now is taking it to dealer and let them complete the installation (basically running the harness and plugging it into the BCM). I know they'll try to root me, but I'd rather pay and have it done right (maybe) than me screw something up.

Questions:

Where was the wiring located at for those of you that installed them and had the wiring/harness in place?

Anyone know how much the dealer might charge for this?

Thanks.

Were they visible, or did you have to feel for them?

Will do.

I completely removed the lower valence and it made cutting the holes alot easier. I can't imagine cutting them while it's still on the truck.

It only took about an hour or so to remove the valence, cut the holes (mostly with a dremel and short hacksaw), replace valence and put fogs on.

Took truck to dealer and they completed job. Charged $75, but now my daytime running lights don't work. Gotta call and make them aware of this.

The instructions that come with those fog lite kits are terrible. The instructions I had said to plug the wire into something like pin d6 then showed a picture of it plugged into a different place. I used the pin under the relay and it worked.

My WT came with the wires installed...did not expect them to be there but when I looked under the fuse box 2 wires were already there so I searched for the connectors.
Also had to remove the entire bumper to be able to mount the fog lights. Thought it was easier to remove the entire bumper than messing with the valance mounting.
