Does anyone know where to even find a used or new cdr im pretty sure the 6.2 i have now is an 86?? I had a donor 6.2 i think the motor was an 86, well the motor got junked so im outta luck. i checked a few local junkyards and nothing

I did some searching on here and all it talks about is how to clean it and i thikn one guy said he got a new one at the stealership for $60. The dealership is my last resort.

My intake manifold has the 2 nipples for the hoses and my oil filler tube has a nipple for another hose. and im assuming thats where the lines from the cdr run to. and the nipples would take a pretty big hose almost like heater hose

well if anyone could give me a direction to go in for this parts let me know

THanks
Erik

well the cdr donor i had was the same kind only it bolted onto the alternator bracket, but i assume that this is the same thing just bolted different.

The reason i dont have the cdr or any diesel parts for that matter was because my buddy sold me the truck and he started to do a diesel swap from a 350 to a 6.2, but got lazy and went out and bought a new truck. So im stuck part way... all he did was drop it in and bolt the motor down..the rest is for me to tackle.

Im not exactly sure what year my motor is, and im not near the truck to get the numbers its about 10 miles away....all i can remeber was it had the round screw on fuel filter that was bolted to the back of the motor between the intake manifold and block

if that style you have iwill bolt up to mine send me a pm

THanks

As I recall, the CDR system is pretty much the same throughout the years except for component locations which varied slightly on different models. The components are all the same. You can pretty much mount the CDR valve anywhere you want.
