I have an 06 LLY with 40k miles and I am about to order and install a banks big hoss bundle. I need info on what to do to the trany to make sure it holds up to the engin. I tow around 16,500lbs of digging gear from time to time and a 13,000lb toy hauler. Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated.

You will need clutches, triple lock converter, more pressure and possibly a trans cooler.

Depending on how much power you end up with you may get by with a Transgo Jr. kit as long as you stay below 420 RwHp. Once you get above this level it's time to pull the tranmission and upgrade it and the Torque converter as well. We have not found coolers needed much in the '06 and up trucks.
