If I just get the trim piece with the switch in it, will the mirrors work ?
every thing seems plugged in and the fuse is in place.

i would guess yes but that is just a guess just take the trim piece out of a freinds truck and find out for sure before you buy one

I have power mirrors and now they only work in two directions.....up and sometimes to the right?.....
Has anyone experienced switch or wiring issues?
The same issue exists on both mirrors so I'm assuming it's the switch....?

Which year is your truck? If you are an 02 or earlier, I know for sure that you can open the door and pop the upper triangular trim piece off and check for wires. If the wiring is plugged into the mirrors, all you will need to do is pop the small piece off the driver's door that has the power locks/window controls in it and replace it with the version for power mirrors and buy the switch. The trim piece was about $40. I don't know what the switch costs because we got the one for my dad's truck from a junkyard.

Everything from the mirror on is plugged in and there's an empty male plug under the panel.

Thanks
