Anyone have some experiences with that? My girls little sis has a boyfriend with one. Stock, '01?, auto, exhaust, 18's, and he thinks it's fast. I told him my diesel truck will walk him, and I'm pretty confident it will. I've had quite a bit of experience picking on them with my LS1 car, but haven't toyed with them in my truck yet. I don't want to look like a dumb $#:! after opening my big mouth :duh:

(p.s. he's a 17yr old kid that thinks he can drive .....I thought I could then too, haha )

Easy kill. I raced my buddies 04 gt when I had just a tuner and exhaust and it was an easy kill. They have really crappy gears like 273s. You should beat him with your mods. do it from a dig if your 4x. good luck

I thought so. Yeah, I plan to do it from a boosted 4x launch, I know I'm going to hole shot him hard. Even if that is a freak 4.6 with some kick to it, those tires will go up in smoke

Ok if the torsion bars aren't cranked AND you have tie rods braced or replaced with HD set.

ive done a lot of boosted launches on stock everything with the juice on 3 and a couple on five

i would at least crank the tbars back down before getting wild in 4wd....

i have also done at least 30 boosted launches with the bully dog on 95 and torsion bars cranked and no tie rod sleeves and mine is still good. i know it is not the smartest thing but i think they would hold. i just did a couple last night and killeda ford f250 powerstroke with a edge in it. i would only do a mild boost, because i have had some serios front end movement when i did a 15-20 psi launch

I think I might just cross the fingers, put the Edge on 5, maybe even load up the PPE, look for 30psi, and go for it....hopefully my tranny, and tie rods will give me at least just one run like that

that should be an easy kill for you i can smoke those cars real easy with my bd pup on extreme.even those that have exhuast, gears, and cold air, and chips,even off of a 40mph roll. happy hunting

hello all i have a stock 06 lbz ccsb. and i want to race my father inlaw he has a 2005 mustang rousch stage 3 and was wondering how much it would take to stay in front of him. the fun part is he is one of those antidiesel guys saying there slow loud and they smell. i also had a 04 gto he was to sacared to race.

Killed one the other night.
I have no muffler, running a 120HP predator tune and did not boost launch.

Killed him from 0-60mph and he deserved it.
I layed black noxious smoke on him all the way till I backed off.
His headlights (through a haze of smoke) were in my right side mirror the whole time.

It was a good kill.
