I have a 2005 lly ccsb with 22000 first started to knock slightly, then slowly got hesitant, and white smoke . now just getting worse more hesitant and missing lots of white smoke. have a banks 6 gun tuner just installed banks ram air . have no way to check codes. also does tuner or ram air void warranty should i take off before taking to the dealer?

also

also i have had to add antifreaze recently but no visible leak??? also dealer said bad injectors

Remove the Banks tuner before you take it to the dealer. They shouldn't say anything about the ram air intake.

I would take ALL of the aftermarket engine stuff off.Just to be safe.

Bad injectors or bad fuel. I got bad fuel and mine did that. I changed the fuel filter and put additive in it.

Maybe cracked head or bad headgasket if it's white smoking alot !!

Just a tip. I had the same problem and took my truck in to get fixed. I took off all my mods off and they proceeded to tell me they would not cover it because I had "contaminated fuel"

Change your fuel filter before bringing it in! GM has some kind of protocol that if you have contaminated fuel, they will not touch it under warranty.

fixed for now

they replaced to fuel filter not it replaced injectors not it finally said loose wires in main connector plugs

go to the video section and watch the 05 lly -10 no plug in start up. that is true knocking. black chev with pin stripes. page 13 top middle.
