Was a good time. I would say about 50 Duramax trucks for the day going in and out. Put alot of names to faces on Sat. Jermck(thanks for the stainless CB bracket), Idle Chatter, Victory Red, Dmaxallitech, Blue OX, Tysmith, Kennedy...seen this guy before, Towman, Micheal Tomac, and a bunch more I can't remember. Too many names. Lots of cool trucks and information exchanged. My voice is sore.

Micheal Tomac broke the dyno
His high hp was 480 I believe.

A few of the trucks. Jermck's ride. Nice tube steps!

Dmaxallitech

After Tomac broke the dyno wee needed something to do so some of the guys that work there fired up their drag cars and we had a burn out competion. They roasted them at the exit of the service bay at the dealership. Cool dealer. Eric.....just right click and save them to your hard drive....I won't have to email them then.

Blue Ox tried to match them with his bass thumping Duramax.

Hey Maverick,
I didn't get a chance to talk to you, but I talked a little to Kennedy, a lot to HDmax, and some more to Dmaxallitech. It was disappointing that the dyno was down by the time we got there, but still very glad ot make it and meet some people & check out some nice trucks.

One should note that the Dmax burnout did NOT use the windshield washer "bleach box" like the gassers did, or so I am told...

So, I figured out who Jermck is as the CB brackets gave it away. Joe E, I did not figure which one you were. Ty and Ox were easy as they were about the only "dudes" there...

Ox, I'm sorry if I broke your exhaust gas recirc system, and 95 mph speed limiter.
Maybe Eric can get it fixed under warranty.....

All in all a good day. Smoked one Ford PSD tranny (was holding up fine with the Banks chip) and lit the fuse on a couple of Allisons...

Mine is one of the alli's that Kennedy lit a fuse on...got me a 90 Juice and boy does it make this truck fun to drive. Not that it was a dog or anything, but it is a whole new beast now! Thanks for hooking me up with a refurbed and makin me a good deal! BTW, thanks also for fixin that durn bright high beam indicator. Mucho better after the reflash.

Hey Ox, did ya finish all that jerky yet? If you need me to hook you up with more, just let me know. We can work something out and I can ship ya a fix when you need more.

Met more than I can remember, like Maverick, HDmax, another member from Alaska (can't remember his name now, but hope you have a safe trip back), and others whose names now elude me, and all were so nice and fun to talk to. Thanks dmaxalliTech for a great day of fun, and hopefully next time you will some others play on the dyno before tomac breaks it! hehehehe

Mac,

WHat kind of gauges are those in your truck? I like the looks of them....Do they work well? Do they have back light for night time?

On the stock radio that you used to have ....when you faded to the rear speakers did they sound like crap?...then when you fade to the front the fronts sound much better?

Thanks

I got a chance to talk to just about everyone except for Kennedy.

Maverick, the prize table had a boatload of Dieselplace stickers, they were easy to get. I got mine Friday from Eric. I was a little bummed about the dyno but hey, that'll happen. Pretty much had a good time(Jermck thanks for the bracket). Was everything I expected except for one minor thing (AHEM Eric!
)

Victory Red, I know that minor thing and I feel terrible about it

To make it up to you, I will cost you the gauges/pod. I will PM you the amount. I should have just done it Friday night....

JK, my offer still stands you know. I could use a guy to run the tech-2. Save me some time you know...

A million thanks to all who attended and look forward to next year's event.. thinking spring time

So you didnt like our w/w solvent burnout box

Mav, I was wondering who won the deep pan kit! did you get your transynd with it?? If not, pm or email me, I owe you a bucket and a DP sticker

Dmaxallitech,

Yeah wish I could've got it done as well, but that stuff happens. I'm not overly happy about it, than again I was hoping for a Schaeffer oil change/challenge as well and a dyno run.

I emailed Robert Scollon(didn't know where else to send one at the dealer) a thank you for the event. Those of you who came, it would be a nice gesture to send off a quick thank you.

The things I would like to see. Well ok the plow/line x guy was nice, but us out of towners either need a really good deal to drive back for it, or have it done on site. That way when we make our impulse buy we can take it home with us.

Another suggestion is on site seminars. Just some basic service tips, or installation tips like a Kennedy headlight harness, gauges, tranny fluid flush and fill, secondary fuel filter install. Things along those lines would've generated more $$ for the dealership, helped those of us that are considering the additions, but aren't quite sure of our mechanical skills.

The service specials your dealership ran was nice, but once again it didn't do us out of towners much good if we couldn't get the service performed on the day.

Quick note for Kennedy, next time bring a few more UNI filters. i was hoping to get my hands on one, but you ran out. Edited by: Victory Red

It was great to meet so many others that need to be committed
...

Well worth the 1800 miles I racked up on the truck, the 20,000 on the tires and the 25K on the Alli..

Next year we need to throw up a tent and block off the W6, maybe then it will be long enough. It would have saved me a lot of back and forth time

The day was all about these trucks, so while the gassers were running I was setting up CS-DMax's juice up to tranny destroy mode
, sorry dude...are you an addict yet? Thanks for the hook up!
Once I came back and saw some disappointed faces, I had to go to work...trew some St. Anger on the new system...went for a long warm up
...dodged the puddle as much as possible, no need for it...and as I found out later, unexpectedly lit 'em up
...the pic is nice, but didn't catch the bulk of the smoke, of coarse you can only get so much out of those dinky tires, right Eric? Sorry to the guy that caught a face full of Babe's fart.
I wish I had a picture of those guys in front of that Envoy, talk about BIG eyes
It was also fun to see all the people inside the building running like Godzilla was coming
All you girls made it too easy for me to have the best D-max burner
I'm sure Angel will give you some lessons if Mike will stick some cheaper tires on:HiHi:]

I learned a valuable, or pricey lesson, if you let Kennedy mess with your truck he might break stuff
I don't think I'll be getting it "fixed" though
If I did, I'd have one of the workaholics, DM/A-T or JK, fix it though.

Thanks to the DJ
, my already lit fuse was hit with a blow torch
My first limp was topped off with codes that even the workaholic duo weren't sure of
, off the top of their heads anyway.

That quick run to 115 surely sold the Juice to my extra passenger

Good time!

I wonder if all those stickers are still laying on the table
..

See Ya'll round...

I later learned that you were about the only other "long hair" in attendance. Saw you there, but you never said anything, and since you were in the bay on Friday night, I figured you were with the crew...

I took I believe 4 Uni's and thought that would be enough. Well, if Mav picks it up for you we can foil Doyle if ya know what I mean...
