When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms. <A name=ss1-1273616><A href="http://service.gm.com/servlets/BlobShtml?ShtmlFile=1273616#ss1-1273616" target="_blank">
<H5>Condition/Concern:</A></H5>

  1. <LI =1>Bearing growl or rattle type noise while depressing or releasing the clutch pedal.
    <LI =1>The noise from the dual-mass flywheel may also cause: A. Excessive shifter or engine vibration. B. Injector balancing rate fluctuations.
    <LI =1>The bearing growl or rattle type noise noise and/or engine vibration and injector balancing rate fluctuations is eliminated with the clutch fully engaged or disengaged. </LI>

<H5>Recommendation/Instructions:</A></H5>

  1. <LI =1>Refer to published service procedures.
    <LI =1>Install a dual mass flywheel part number 12581141. Part number shown is the latest at the time of this PI. Part numbers are subject to change.
    <LI =1>Replace the flywheel bolts as noted in SI DOC ID number 677665. </LI>
