Mag drills are super handy. I have one that sits most of the time but when it’s needed, it’s hard to beat.

I use annular cutters. I also use the same cutters on the lathe and mill when appropriate.
The annular cutters are a 3/4” Weldon and have two flat spots for securing via set screws. I like not having a chuck on the mag drill because it keeps things close.
This is a 1-13/16” Annular on a lathe using a MT4 adaptor for the tail stock.

Annular cutters used on a mill also come in handy.

Better than a hole saw.

I’ve been buying annular cutters for several years on eBay. I only but top name brands no imports.
They used to be plentiful and affordable. Not so much these days.

Very handy to have. Also got mine off of Flea Bay. Not used often but , awesome to have when needed.
