as the title asks:

in the tables, cause/effect. If the MAF sensor were way out of calibration, what would we see?

Ross, if you are listening, those egr tables (that we can't see) keep coming up.

Lastly, has anyone played with the maf voltage scaling?

I dont think it uses MAF at all, except for the EGR check...and maybe in the hidden EGR tables.

With EFI I think you have a choise, MAP or MAF based tuning.

I don't know for certain because I don't have my hand on one. I just ordered a personal version of EFI from Tripp. If I can get my head around it I'll upgrade to a commercial version.

You do have a choice of MAP or MAF for injection timing. B0901 is the table.

I'm 99.9% sure the MAF is used for EGR monitoring, there is little reference to it in the code and when it does EGR is involved.

Cheers,
Ross

What about the LB7's that don't have a EGR ? I heard somewhere that it's used for low speed and part throttle fuel calculation.
