Cars dont only go to auctions because they're lemons...people lose their jobs, get hurt and cant pay blah blah blah.....
I doubt very seriously they paid that much - they have people on their payroll that KNOW it's their job if they make mistakes like that.
Maybe get a carfax - better yet, make them get one!

Get the VIN and do a check here. This way you would have more info about it.Sometimes carfax is wrong. It might be a savaged truck from the gulf region.

Buddy of mine got his '05 CC Dually LT3 4X4 used for $33,000. It had 16,000 miles on it. He ran the vin, everything was alright. Run the vin if everything checks out talk em down, priced a little high.

Agree...IF the VIN checks out, talk them down in price. Otherwise walk away... If they start chasing you, then runaway...They are hiding something IMHO.

You know, for not much more per month (depending on down) you could walk away with a brand new one - Maybe look at that avenue.

If you are going to spend that much, I'd look into a new one. Not sure what the incentives are right now, but when I got mine, less than 2 years ago, I was looking at used ones also. 1 to 2 years old, 15 to 50k miles, 30 to 35k dollars, and not many to pick from at that time. 52k sticker, 6k trade in, new truck for 32.5, no tax if you got 12,000lb plates at that time.

If you look down the main index you will see the vin check. You will have to post the vin# there.

Another reason it could be there

there where alot of 06 LLY's traded in for LBZ's. Which is it? VIN will tell you that also.

I do think they are high $$$$$ Price the same truck new on www.chevrolet.com and see what the price diff is. Research Kelly's blue book. If you know someone that does these auctions they can also look up the average going price at auction for these vehicles.
