In my last truck I had the regular/original Line-X, that eventually faded to a charcoal grey after six years. It was a great product and the fading didn't really bother me. I did see they offer a new Line-X Premium, that has a UV protectant that keeps it shiny and glossy as the day you had it spayed on. Does anyone have any first hand experience or has any reviews of this?

Thank you

I haven't had mine long, but it does look really nice. It's called Line-X Xtra....

Since they have to add the extra layer over the top does it appear to be thicker than the original? Does that extra layer fill in some of the texture making it slicker?
Thanks for you reply.

If you look at the advertisements, it makes it look like 2 separate layers.....but I'm 99% sure it is all sprayed on at the same time(I think the Xtra is injected right into the gun). I don't think it is thicker than the normal stuff. And no, it doesn't loose the texture.

LINE-X Xtra and LINE-X Premium are two different products but accomplish the same thing. Xtra is the result of development by both LINE-X and DuPont. Xtra has been around for several years. Premium is a newer product, is more environmentally friendly, and costs less than Xtra. Both are aliphatic (won't fade) and will hold their gloss.

Both Xtra and Premium are a darker black than standard LINE-X. I think Xtra is a tad darker than Premium. Premium has a bit more gloss than Xtra.

You will be happy with either one, especially years from now when your bedliner will still look brand new!

We sprayed mine with Premium a year ago, it sits outside all the time, and it looks as good as the day we sprayed it. I definitely recommend it. It also makes it easier to clean.

Got the Line X X-tra here

My truck was done two years ago. Had the rockers done along with over the rail and tailgate coverage.

It still looks like the day it was done. My garage does not know what being in a garage is like.

Photos in my garage.
