Is there any reason lift pumps can not be added to either side of the stock fuel filter ?? ( please explain ) arm

The MITUSA lift pump is post stock fuel filter and works very well. Some pumps might be better pushers than pullers, so closer the tank the better.

Lots more room back under the truck near the tank rather than up in the engine bay.

Fuel influenced by reduced prssure (vacuum) and heat (injector drivers, lines across the engine etc will begin to vaporize in the lines. This air accumulates in the filter. Adding lift supply pressure back as close to the tank as possible is the best idea.

Also a concern would be pump wear debris flowing unfiltered to the pump.
