I am looking into a crew cab short bed 4x4 and want to lift it to put either 33's or 35's on it. The question is, I need to tow a 25ft gooseneck tandem axle trailer (for a sled pulling truck) with the truck. What is the biggest liftkit/tire combo that can be used to tow a gooseneck? I would like to run 35's and the smallest lift possible even if there is a small amount of trimming involved.

I think it will depend on your trailer? What is your trailer ride height and clearance?

i do not have a current measurement on the trailer, but here is picture of a similar trailer. The trailer is a 25ft +5ft dovetail, but with dual tandem rather than tri. I dont know if this helps or not, but basically what i want to know is if anyone on this site safely tows a gooseneck with a 4in or 6in lift kit or even a leveling kit and 305's?
