I purchased a lbz duramax a couple of months ago. I just changed the fuel filter today and went to start truck and reduced engine power message came up with no check engine light. What could be the possible problem?

I take off my intake tube to change my fuel filter. If you did this did you plug you MAF sensor back in? Another thing is do have a washable, air filter? If you do replace it with a dry filter. And clean your MAF sensor with MAF cleaner. If this is your first fuel filter change on a diesel you may won't to retrace all your steps to make sure it was done right.

I presume that you have primed the new filter and that the gaskets are in properly.

Installed new filter, loosened bleeder screw and pumped till diesel came out. I closed it and then started truck.
