Will it cause problems to leave the truck plugged in for too long?
I have access to free power at work, & plug my truck in for 8-10 hours. It works great as the engine is nice & warm when I get off, but can anyone see any negatives about leaving it plugged in too long?

Why do you even plug it in? It doesn't need it. I have had some really cold days and never plugged it in and it started up like a gas truck would. Granted the heat would be nice right away, but I let it warm up and there is my heat. 15 minutes of idle is better for the truck and also cheaper than 6 hours of being plugged in!

Deffinatly plug it in, who cares how long. IT'S FREE. I leave my truck plugged in all shift when at work. The temp could be -30 and it would start but why cause excess wear and tear on the engine? Having it warmer helps. :D I also run an interior heater

What kind of interior heater do you use? The Duramax Van is freezing no matter if its plugged in or not.
