i have a 01 lb7 had a air dog system on it when i bought the truck it would "run out of fuel" at quarter tank someone said to get the air dog suction line so i did that and installed it then i installed a new cat filter 1r-0751 i believe it is and now if truck sits i loose prime i use bleeder screw and the it starts right up and runs fine but if i let sit for little bit i have to prime it again to get it to run and one no any ideas

I would start by rebuilding or replacing the OEM filter head. The Orings inside can wear down and allow air to enter the fuel system

randomly though had no problems until i did suction and filter on air dog

No, Putting on an old filter is asking for trouble
Aftermarket filters tend to cause air leaks. The only aftermarket filter I would use is a Baldwin. I would stick with AC/Delco filters or in your case see what airdog recommends. They should list a filter crossover chart for their pumps

i tried putting air dog ilter on not sure but wouldnt thread on idk if its an adapter for the cat filter or not cause it has cat filter on air dog and on motor
