k&n are ok but get one that is in a box and only gets air from the outside like the volant etc

does the air intake from macperformance make a difference if so what kind of numbers like horse power and torque does this ubit produce?

I've got the K & N FIPK system & I like it. Good Luck with whatever you chose to use. There are many good intake systems on the market & I'm sure you'll find the supporting venders on this forum more than glad to help you.

I have a friend with the MAC. Sounds great, seems pretty quick as far as gains, but, no true dyno's. I've always liked K&N, but, I've never owned a Diesel up until this point so, I"m not sure what to go with now. I was leaning toward Volant myself since it's a "true CAI" setup, BUT, I want a lot of the sound that comes from the cone filter, which may be something restricted if it's in a box vs. open like k&n
