I have a question for those who have more experience than I do. Because of the complexity of these new engines I am a little concerned that I may damage some part of the computer if I jump off another vehicle. Should I just buy a jumpbox? I have never had a problem on either of my suburbans and I found a permanent jump kit that allows a plug-in feature through the grill. Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks.

Thats what I've always heard and I've never had any problems. I was just worried that the new electrical system would be too sensitive. Anyway, thanks for the reply...

Our trucks don't really care a whole heck of alot, at least that I have noticed. I have had to use my truck to charge up military 24v systems one battery at a time, and it does just fine.

The most "fool proof" method is to hand them your cell phone and let them call road service......:muahaha:
