I've been running the edge with attitude for a while with just an intake and exhaust and I wasn't overly impressed. It seemed like it would run on power level 3 harder than level 5. There was so much "flutter" between shifts, or lack of shifting or whatever on 4 or 5.
But I just did a Precision tripple disc converter, trans go and new clutches.
Now it's amazing. That's what it's supposed to do!

I didn't spin too much in first or 2nd gear with a rolling start before the tranny upgrade---but now I spin completely through first and 2nd and partly through 3rd. I just can't believe it's the same truck with the same tune! It feels like I've got another hundred horsepower. Just amazing. I know all the old guys are laughing at my new found power--but damn! Now I understand.

That's good news. I thought the exact same thing-especially about level 3 vs. 5. I planned on having a trans done once winter is over(I plow snow), now it's for sure. Thanks for sharing the info.
