I'm looking at buying a used juice with attitude for my lb7, and was wondering about the version revisions. Looking at EDGE's website it looks like they are on rev. EJC1001WAM , while the unit I'm looking at is EJC1000WAM. Anybody know what differences there are, if any?

Seems to me like all the problems people have been having with the juice is on the newer modules rather than the older ones, even though the newer ones are supposed to handle the heat and vibrations better. Am I better off going a different route for a programmer?

I have had 8 modules for my 03. All but two have failed. The two that have worked are Beta Test Modules.I am currently running another Beta Test Module for Edge which has so far worked flawlessly. I would not buy anything until they come out with the final fix as you would most certainly have a problem which they may not warranty...My $.02..Jim

The new one is available. The EJC1000 has the harness integral with the module where the 1001 has a connector at the module and the harness is seperate. The 1001 has the fixes for the overheat condition. However, not all 1001s are the same. I had to return the 1001 I received in October and the attitude to have it updated to the latest S/W version. The 1001 I have does not work (engine won't start) but Edge is shipping a new one to me. I was told that I am the only one that has had a problem with the latest 1001. I think there is either a build problem or a harness problem with the unit I have. I'll post an update when the new module and harness arrives. I have found that Edge provides good support.

I had 2 of the 1000s. Both ended up having the shutdown problem after about a year. Edge says the problem does not occur on all trucks. I guess I am just lucky.

I would not get a used module at this point unless it had been upgraded to the latest version. Edge had been quite liberal in their warranty policy but that may be changing. Before you buy a used module, make sure it can be upgraded and determine the cost of the upgrade before you buy. The Juice/Attitude is a great product. I hope the latest version is as good as I hear.
