I have a 4.61 version juice on my 01 D/A. I am running normal and T/H on level 2 since I don't race and it gives me all I want. When the eng and tranny are cold the tranny seems to shift very hard. I don't get on it hard so the shifts are quick to get to OD. It just seems to much harder than when I was running level 3 or 4. Is this normal or do I have a tranny or juice problem?

Which level setting gives the best fuel economy. It seems I may have gotten a little better fuel economy in level 3 but I can't prove it without being able to drive the long trips which have stopped for now. Give me some insight into this please.

Thanks for your input. I don't get on it cold. I read so posts about hard shifts and was just wondering if I getting something I shouldn't get. I love this truck. I have had a bunch of them over the years and none of them can come close to comparing to this one.

I think many others are seeing the light as well. I have seen a lot of Duramax equipped GM trucks since I came back home from Amarillo and I think Amarillo and the TX panhandle has the largest number per captia of any place in the country They are everywhere. Those farmers and ranchers use bunches of GM products including every version of SUV to go with the trucks.
