I am having a problem with my 2008 isuzu 6H. I recently bought this truck. Drives great. Occasionally the RPM and Speedo gauges drop to zero even though the engine does not stutter at all.

After a snowstorm and sitting a week while doing repairs to the mounted equipment it started having this issue. Started great ran for approximately 5-8 minutes at idle. Engine died. Restarted. Dies after 1-2 minutes. Will not crank at all. Let it sit and it will start and run great for a short time. Then repeat process.

I'm poor and can't afford to start randomly replacing parts. I have not been able to run codes, but I honestly don't believe I'll get any. Seems to me something electronic is getting warm and ending signal.

Sounds like an air in fuel issue with the engine.
Start by replacing the fuel filter and start inspecting your fuel lines for any corrosion, wet/weeping lines, dry rot, cracking, etc..

Winter time is also prime for fuel gelling issues. make sure you add an anti gel additive to your fuel tank(s)

It is most definitely electrical not fuel. Hoping I just found it. Sloppy connection on ECU relay.
