haha same thing here, took two weeks to get here and when i went to install it the adapter to the turbo was loose , sleeve for box to intake tube was to short, had wrong hardware that went to filter adapter. holes in bottom to big for stock washers and bolt to hold box down, and the iceing on the cake was the hole for maf sensor was to small with no holes drilled in it. bottom line im sending it back for a refund. to bad S&B sounded like a great product but need to work on the quality contol issues.
intake help please
i got home last night to put my S&B intake on and i ran into a problem. after i got the new air box in and the new intake tube in i went to put the mass air flow sensor into place and i noticed that the hole in the tube was too small for the sensor. also there are no pre drilled holes for the screws to hold it in. is this a common thing with S&B or did they srew up? i have put intake on before but never this brand. should i try to make the hole bigger and drill some holes or should i try to send it back to them? thanks in advance.
