My truck seems to be missing when I get on it kind of hard, I just noticed it yesterday. when I hit the throttle (about 1/2 way) it seems sluggish and misses. The truck was running at about 190 degrees, and it was about 60 degrees outside. It has 40,000 miles on it, but about 30,000 of those has been pulling a 14,000 lb. trailer around. Any suggestions on what it could be?

How many miles on your fuel filter?? A clogged filter could cause this. Any smoke or SES light??
Hopefully some others will chime in with more ideas/suggestions.

I have 43000 on my 05 Chev. Duramax. I just got mine back from the shop, I had #4 injector stopped up. I think I screwed up, I changed fuel filter and poured some in the top, probably got contaminated fuel in the filter (past filter). Thats when I got the problem
05 Chev. 4X4 extended cab long bed.

Try some Stanadyne addative and see if that helps. Also I recommend changing the fuel filter just in case.
