What are some dates for some indoor pulls this winter?

No diesel trucks this year at gordyville i guess. plenty of tractors though. It looks like next chance to watch diesel trucks will be in crawfordsville, indiana march 12 and 14th 2009

I think it's Cloverdale Joe, not crawfordsville. At least that's what I read. And cloverdale is only 15 minutes away from my house. Though for me it's hard to justify, and get the okay from the wife for a $175 membership fee, hook fee and then $30 pit passes for the family and crew. It'd easily be a $300-$400. But if you want to pull in the winter I guess that's what it costs. Helluva lot cheaper than dragging it down to Florida.

2009 Midwest Winter Nationals updates: The 9,500 Limited Pro Stock class that runs Friday afternoon has been divided into two class that will both compete Friday afternoon. Each class will have a $3000 purse and the top 4 tractors from each class will advance to Saturday nights finals. The recently added 6,200 Regional Super Stock class that was moved to the Friday night session. So all you light Super fans take notice, we have 3 classes of light tractors for you on Friday night. Should a very exciting evening.

Tickets for the 2009 Midwest Winter Nationals are now on sale via paypal. Mail order form should be available soon. Tickets will be shipped starting November 22, 2008

2009 Midwest Winter Nationals: Gordyville U.S.A. January 15-16-17, 2009

Attention Pro Stock Pullers! At the 2009 Midwest Winter Nationals we are going to award the champion the Melba and Wayne King Cup. This is a very prestigious award. The King family have been huge supporters of pulling and live within 1 mile of the Gordyville U.S.A. facility, Melba passed away September 26, 2008 and in 2009 Whatssmokin Promotions are going to award the champion at the Midwest Winter Nationals Pro Stock class this trophy in the the name of Wayne and Melba King. Along with the King Cup the winner of the Midwest Winter Nationals will also win $3000 dollers first place prize money.

This new facility has capacity for two 300 foot indoor tracks and enough indoor pit area for approximatly 200 pulling vehicles.

i will tell you, there is nothing like pulling in the middle of winter. your in a sport that has a ton of input costs and very little reward money. still all worth it to me! i will do it again.
