I would like to increase my boost on my stock turbo. I currently get about 25 PSI with Edge Juice set on 5. I've read that the stock turbo is safe up to 32 PSI, however I also read that an overboost code is set at 28 PSI. I would like to increase up to 30 PSI.

What PSI is the Banks Big Head good for? Is it adjustable?

If I go past 28 PSI is there a way to prevent from setting the overboost code?

Where's an easy accurate place to monitor boost?

tap the manifold or get a superdiesel manifold and get a reading from there , you can get a reading from the wast gate line but its not as accurate, as for over boost codes they happen on some trucks and not on others , the Edge should override them as it tricks the sensor . The banks is good for any psi until you actually stop the wast gate from opening (just keep turning it to shorten it)

Also, the Banks Big Head has a port for easy boost guage hook-up.

The LB& Juice/Attitude will not read past 25.6 psi. The Juice will not allow overboost codes. You will need a mechanical gauge to read your increased boost. I have a very nifty KD Boost valve that will install in minutes and is fully adjustable. You will see quicker boost response/spool up and it is adjustable to provide as much boost as you want. It is compatible with the stock wastegate or the Banks Big Head.

Level 5 on the Juice with a stock trans is not a good idea...

Kennedy,
I spoke with Edge and they claim that any juice module sold with attitude " EJC1001WAM " will read up to 99 psi as is. They said pre-attitude models would only read up to 25.6 psi.
Have you had any experience reading trying to read higher boost with a later juice?
I wouldn't think the stock sensor was even capable of reading 99 psi.

You are correct. The early Juice was not exactly designed to be equipped with the Attitude. The revised #EJC 1001 was designed to read higher. The LLY Juice was built after the Atitude so it was equipped to read more. I don't think we'll see much past 30 psi though. I'll have to try it on my LLY once and see how high it will go. It won't be 99psi though as the sensor does not read that high...

So can you have an older one updated to read past 25.6 on an LB7?

I always thought it was the limit of the sensor on the truck.

No, the new model (nothing wrong with the old one unless it goes bad) is just different.
