I believe my truck has an incabin air filter......can someone confirm? Also, what is the procedure to replace the filter if there is one?

The 01/02's had this cabin filter. Located in duct, under plastic cover, under glove box. Two filters are installed, one behind the other. Cost $18-$25 a pair. Cost more at Dealer. If you first heard about it, it definately needs a changing. Annual change probably is not excessive.

thanks Modified. It's a new to me truck. Going to check out the filters now.


BTW, how do you like you Michelins? I'm thinking of going that route.

Found'em..........uh, it's safe to say by the amount of junk that fell out they haven't been changed in awhile. Looks like I'll be ordering two new filters.

get the hepa type if you can.... lot cleaner - less dust in the cabin...

modified is correct. You should change them out once a year.
