Not to rain on your parade, but I would stay away from the K&N too. Take a look at UNI, or Amsoil’s foam filters, same flow rate, much better filtering. I ran the K&N on my last gas truck; actually it was a FIPK to be specific. I always had some sort of dirt trail on the intake tract. I believe the dirt was pushed through while driving in the rain. On the other hand I could always see little gaps in the media. I encourage you to look around the forums for more info, and opinions on the subject before you make the purchase.
