Today I'm at the dealer for my first oil change/service at 3,000 miles. They informed me that a fluid leak was found at the brake hydrobooster. The hydrobooster wasn't sealing from the piston to housing. I had to have the entire hydro booster assembly replaced. Took about 4 hours. When I asked if this was common for a brand new truck he said it was probably just a defected part.

Curious if anybody here had this problem or has heard about it.

Mine was leaking on my o6, dealer removed it, sent it out for rebuild, cost saving? The truck was in the shop for 2 days. Started leaking after 2 months, This time I made sure that a new one was installed. I checked my 02 and its showning signs of oil seepage!:(
