how high does my ceiling have to be for a two post car lift ? thanks for info

To make it really easy just add the height of the vehicle you mean to lift and how high you want the tires to come off the ground. Then add about a foot to make up for the suspension droop when you raise it. I think the height of the vehicle is the limiting factor more often than the height of the lift.

ya it sucks ware im moving to the garage cieling is 11' s--t

Most lifts require 12' but you can buy a Mohawk lift that is only about 7' but you will not be able to lift the vehicle high enough to walk under unless you want to make your truck a convertable.

They make them for about any height ceiling,just check with your local shop equipment dealer. They should get you a lift that will just clear your ceiling. I just bought one for my shop with 10ft ceilings and clearance is about 6".

my 4 post lift needs 12' ...... im sure its about the same for a 4 post lift

hey bigblockbill you can't walk under it rite inless your a midget im 5'10" so it probably won't work for me and my truck that sucks. might be romm to add another bay though.
