How do I shorten my antenna?

Hi, I just bought a beautiful LBZ 07 classic, unfotunately my truck will only fit in my underground parking, only if I remove the antenna, or it will scrape the heck out of it!
I removed it, and reception is ok, but could be better with maybe a half mast type antenna. I don't really feel it is a good idea to cut it shorter. Any suggestions?

LOL I just cut mine. They sell billet ones too.

I threw my antenna in the garbage. My radio still works great and the truck looks a lot cleaner without the antenna on the truck.

I "artfully" bent it at about a 45 degree angle toward the rear of the truck about 6 inches from the top so it clears the underside of my cab over camper...

You can get a "rubber duckie" type. Only about 12" tall. I went thru the same problem. The itty bitty thing worked pretty good too.
