Wife's '01 Yukon - the High Mount Center Stop Light is a LED style and half of it doesn't work anymore (the other half is really dim also). Dealer wants $135 for the replacement  Local junkyard wants $65 which is still too much for a light bulb!!

I've been searching for a cheaper solution and can't find an aftermarket one. Does anyone know where I can get one other than the OEM or if someone makes a replacement that actually uses 12v light bulbs rather than the LED?

Thanks!

Dealer said that "they only put the LED's on for a few years" but he couldn't tell me if a non-LED from another year would work.

Do all Yukon's / Tahoes have the LED one?

No replies - Well, guess I got my answer. Either don't replace it or pony-up for $65-$135 for a new one.
