SERVICE TIRE MONITOR

Came on @ exactly 5K

My truck does not have the steering wheel controls

Can turn it off with the ODO reset, but it comes back on @ start up

Is this something from the 1500 trucks?

I just added OE keyless entry, 100% plug & play, would that cause it?

No one has any ideas?

Checked the manual, no mention of a tire monitoring system.
I assume this is a function in other GM vehicles that use the same computer and it is not used in the HDs

I guess I'll go to the dealer tomorrow AM.

At the dealer this AM. They worked for over an hour on it. No luck, truck is still doing it. They basically told me I would have to live with it.

I think it has to be the keyless entry. My guess is that the Motorolla receiver in the keyless door modual must also receive a signal from the tire monitors which I think are inside of each wheel on so equiped trucks. I guess that modual is looking for a signal from my wheels which is obviously is not going to get. I thought they could just yank the code but the said it was impossible to remove. OH well
