Well here we go. Cruising about 80 mph Sat. night and heard BOOM and gush of air. Turbo still spinning fine. Checked out rubber hose connections to and from intercooler and all appears well. While driving I can only get 10 -12 lbs of boost under acceleration instead of 20-22. Any ideas where to look next took front end apart to inspect intercooler and seems alright. When accelerating it sounds as the air leak is near rear of engine but that is really hard to tell.

i know you say you checked, but check again, from turbo to intercooler to intake. What you describe is the classic popped pipe seal somewhere. Put your hands and a wrench on every coupler. ight be a split in an area you cant see, but will feel

check the charge pipe connector under the drivers headlamp, I had battery acid eat a hole through mine once. even a crooked charge pipe clamp could cause a leak.

I thought maybe waste gate opening early but that does not explain the rushing air I hear.
