I went out to remove my blower fan for the heater and discovered that a connector and wire had melted itself to the back side of my glove box in my '97 truck. I am trying to figure out what this connector/wire goes to? And then figure out why it's getting hot enough to melt plastic  . Here are some pics, any help would be greatly appreciated.
