Well our New Orleans Saints are gettin whipped so I thought I would do some reading and say HI to everyone. I have had my new Chevy 2500HD since the end of Oct and love it. We pull a 29 foot camper, and found out that our 2001 Silverado with the 350 couldn't cut the hills in central part of our state. Our new 2500HD is a mule, don't even know the camper is hooked up. I enjoy reading everyones comments, and looking at alot of great looking trucks.:D Hello to all owners of the greatest trucks on earth..

Welcome BigPuller, You'll love the new dmax, I pull a 29' trailer also, cruises up the hills with little effort. I'm in Virginia now but grew up in West Monroe.
Where bouts you camping at? I really miss Lake Darbonne!!

Welcome!

I was pulling for your Saints all season (except when they played the Packers) and am sad that they missed their opportunity to go to the big show. What a great season they had . This season was not a fluke and they will be a force to be reckoned with for years to come.

I just purchased and have not taken delivery of my duramax yet and am anxiously waiting until the 2nd of February to pick it up. I've owned many Chevys through the years but this will be my first oil burner. I also pull a medium size 5th wheel and am looking forward to not having to "drive" my truck when I pull it. Your comment about not even knowing the trailer is on is very encouraging. Thanks!

Hey from Sulphur

I've had mine for 2 years now and LOVE
IT! Came out of a 98 4x4 Suburban with 285's on it with no mods so you can just about imagine the shock when I drove my Duramax the first time. I had to clean out my pants when I got home with it!!!

We like pulling up to South Toledo Blend State Park. Its hilly and its as close as we can get to the mountains living down here on the Gulf Coast. My Dad was from Saltville VA and we always spend a week there every summer when I was a kid, I'm knocking on 60 in a couple months.

You are going to be impressed. All I can say is that the Duramax is a HOSS. I'm a NASCAR fan but this is the first time in years that I follow the Saints, just couldn't put up with their bad teams. But back to your wish you well with your new truck and hope you enjoy it like we are ours.
