Ok I'm throwing out feelers to see if anyone is interested in a set of H2 0 Mile takeoffs. I just got a set, and have been offered a second set which of course I dont need. I need to know what anyone is willing to pay to see if it is worth my time to get them, store them, ship them, etc. I'm not looking to make $, just a small amount for my time/effort (they weigh a ton). Southeastern Michigan, Michigan buyer could meet me, otherwise figure in shipping costs, whatever they would be.

I live in Flint, but can travel to anywhere in S/E Michigan to pick them up. What are you asking for them?

Right now I have just the one set of Tires/Rims. Speaking to several people via PM on a purchase. I'm going to try and strongarm the guy I got these from and see if I can get more. Anyone with interest PM me and we can talk amounts.

Shipping should not be a problem. The tires can be shipped singly without a container. Just tape on a mailing label and call UPS. They now pick up at your home.

I just got back from meeting with the supplier and I have prices.
H2 Takeoff Prices
H2 Standard Alloy Rims with Tires (4) $500 plus shipping
H2 Standard Alloy Rims (4) $250 Shipping Included. Shipped to your door anywhere in Continental US
All come with H2 centers
A word about shipping;
These rim/tire combos are very heavy, about 95lbs. Shipping costs are huge, you can expect to pay anywhere from $250 to $300 for UPS to ship them, and I'm not positive they will. They are at the size limit for a package, I will have to go into the local center to be sure. A better option may be to have me have the tires taken off and shipped seperate. That would benefit you in 2 ways, first, for example, a shipment of 4 tires with rims to Hartford CT would cost $255.12. If taken off and shipped seperate, the shipping total falls to $167.90 for a savings of $87.22. Now you have to decide if you can have them mounted and balanced for the difference. Second it allows me to package the rims in boxes with appropriate packing, less chance of dings, etc. Anyone who lives close enough to s/e Michigan and wants to pick them up can PM me for a price of just rims minus shipping. Combo's will still be $500 (duh).
A few things to keep in mind;
1. I'm not a business. I'm not going to make oodles of cash for doing any of this. I'll make just enought to make it worth my time. Looked like good deals so I be passing it along.
2. If you can get them for less anywhere else then by goodness do so! (see #1)
3. They are take-offs, not factory new. They came off the H2's at the dealerships so people drowning in cash could slap on Dubs. That being said, the 3 sets I have look right off the tire rack, little rubber nubblies still on the treads. 0 miles as far as I can tell.
4. If I wouldn't put them on my truck, I won't take them and sell them. I will take only the good stuff.
5. As far as I've seen, they're all good stuff.
6. I've scoured EBAY, these are better prices or I wouldn't be wasting my time. You may find an occasional seller who wants to dump them, my advice, buy them! (see #1 and #2)
7. I have no interest in doing the EBAY thing, for diesel nuts only. Please don't buy them from me and resell them. (see #1)
Thats about it, PM me if you have any questions.

One question, for a guy already stuck with three extra sets of rims, can you get just the tires, sans rims? If so, what would your price be on them?

Thanks!

The $50/tire is TIRE only and will have sales tax (7.5%).

I live close to Mansfield and if someone wants to come and get them I could pick them up at dealer and keep them at my shop so u can get them on weekends.

The dealer is only open M-F 7:30-7 pm.

BTW if anyone wants me to ship them to them my home zip is 43019.Edited by: Dmax Tim

I had 36" Dick Cepeks mounted on Alcoa rims shipped UPS years ago. I don't believe shipping is that bad.

Wheels can be boxed two in each. About $25 a box shipping I believe depending on where.

Camtysn I can get the tires, but they are harder to come by for me. I would charge $250 plus shipping. That is still a good price at $62.50 for a tire that the Tire Rack wants $124 for each and local discount places want $138 each for. If Dmax Tim is willing to get and ship those tires at $50 each I would jump on it. As far as the 3 sets I have they are pretty much spoken for. I will get more as requested, I dont forsee any problems getting however many I need. Could you post your Zip, then I could let you know how much shipping would be from here, and Dmax Tim could estimate it also. Hoot as far as $25 a box for shipping 2 rims, I'm finding anywhere from $26 to $58 per box (X that by 2 for a set) depending where. I'm finding about the same per tire.

On a side note I've put the tires on my truck and have taken the front bumper off. I'm going to do the move forward mod, document it and post it in the DIY section if that's OK. I must say that the truck now looks like a truck.

Follow up on the front bumper mod. All done, only took 2 DAYS.

Moved it forward one inch, didn't have to trim lower air dam. Long story short, had to shim two locations, drill new mounting holes in 4 places and fabricate 2 bumper bracket extentions. I had no idea what was involved, went into it blind. Did it without any help, dropped the bumper twice
. Knowing what I know now, I'd have pulled out the xacto knife and hacked away and been done with it in 5 minutes. Ah well.

Well I talked to the parts manager and his price is $75/ tire but if I get 20 or more it will be cheaper but I doubt I can get them for less than VFR's 62.50/ tire.

I pm'd the guys who ?? me about them.

If anyone is still interested pm me and I'll see what I can do.

VFR looks like u got the good price.

SORRY EVERYONE
