Just bought my first diesel,an 05 Chevy duramax. This looks like a great site for info. I noticed that some trucks say allison transmisson on the side and some don't. I thought they all had allison transmissions?

Welcome, they do all have Allys. GM changed the badging is all.

Kind of....I'm a cop but not on the water. My other job is fishing so I go by fish cop!
