holy hell this thing is AWESOME! just connected it to the truck for the first time and man oh man this thing is cool.

measured and acutal timing is 8.6 and TDCO is perfect at -1.94, i should have written more of the numbers down seeing as how I forget most of them now, but they were all in spec whenever I looked at them, I do remember that... I reccommend this product to everyone that has a 94-95 truck, this is one of the most amazing tools I have ever used and it has already paid for itself seeing as how the local dealer charges $85 just to read all your codes..... GOOD STUFF SwedeBurb!!

Rescan, write it down and post your numbers for reference -

ECT
IAT
Des idle rpm
Act idle rpm
Des timing
Act timing
TDCO
Fuel rate
Fuel temperature
Inj pulse width
Counts missed
Baro
MAP
WG duty cycle

Just the engine\Inj Pump parameters is good input, for now

I love the program to but...

I wish there were more tach 1 & tach 2 master techs here to help us out with the program number to say this is good or bad.:)

At time of recording numbers ECT was at 139.4
IAT = 81.5
Des Idle = 638
Act Idle = 638
Des timing = 8.5
Act timing = 8.4
TDCO = -1.94
Fuel rate = 8.44-8.75
Fuel temp = 103F
Inj pulse width = 1.74ms
counts missed = 0
Baro = 13.4
couldnt find MAP readings
WG duty cycle was 72.7
Fuel calibration counts = 115

So, as Austin Powers says...What does it all mean Basil?

What is your local ambient temperature?

MAP - Manifold Actual Pressure - is Boost - should be same as Baro at idle.
Baro seems way low - are you posting from Site B up Mt Mckinley?

Looking at Fuel Temp, IAT, and ECT, the engine is still near operating temp, and just got a slug of cool water from the radiator, if the ECT sensor is correct.
103deg fuel temp is the clue, there.

1.74ms Ipw is low, but may be due to winter-ized fuel with de-icer.

All else looks good - was your timing previously adjusted to -1.94deg TDCO?

I have never had the timing adjusted so it must have been before I got the truck, And yeah MAP is the same as baro at idle. Nope, no Mt.Mckinley's here, Would my manual WG have anything to do with those readings or no? Also we are only about ~250ft above sealevel..the highest point on the Island is only 450ft above sealevel

Baro is local atmospheric pressure - around 14.7psia at sea level, averaged worldwide.

Could be your Baro sensor is heading south

The Baro and MAP sensors are electronic pressure transducers - they don't care what they're attached to, only what the immediate pressure is.

So, no - the manual WG is no problem - MAP would be higher than demand if exhaust energy was great enough to spin the turbine motor up and compress more air, but that ain't gonna happen at idle.

What may be happening, tho, is PCM is calling for more MAP due to the low Baro output, and has raised WG duty cycle in an effort to Boost MAP to acceptable pressure.

Dunno what the lower limit is, but 14.7 is the 'norm', and you got Baro and MAP both indicating low - PCM is reacting to that.
