I had 315's on my 03 Chevy my question is I might buy a 03 GMC I know the valence is diifferent on the two. Can I cut the valence just like I did on the Chevy to accomodate my 315's? Any GMC's on 315's?

simple answer is yes you can cut ,but on 03 and newer the front valance is painted to match body. have to come up with a way to cover rough edge, and not mess up fiberglass.

I trimmed my uncle's bumper the other day with some tin snips. As long as you hold them square and follow a tape line or something it gives it a fairly nice edge.

Look in my garage. While I only have 285's, you can see how I trimmed it. Yours would be similar, but maybe slightly bigger trim cut.

First, I scribed a line, then I put 2 layers of tape, and several passes wiith a carefilly guided utility knife, then I cleaned it up with scotch brite before I took the tape off. Final step was to air brush with primer and paint.
