I noticed in another section that people were putting Gator back belts on to replace the stock belt.. The reasoning is for the whinning and screaching stock belt...
Does anybody know where to purchase these.. Would NAPA, Car Quest, or Shucks have them..or anywhere else??

i got mine from NAPA, it was like $30. There are part numbers floating around here too.

They're made by Goodyear. Any Goodyear dealer should be able to hook you up with a Gator Back.

Our local AutoZone carries them, and can order them if they don't have your application. I think there's 4 #'s for the Duramax. I changed the belt and all the idler bearings last summer, and saved the old one for a spare.
