When you prime it are you cracking the bleeder screw? What do you mean it runs wierd? What is it doing?

Not likely related. If you had air in the system it wouldn't run, it shouldn't cause it to run rough.

FPPF seems to be a popular choice. Primerose is good as well. I personally run standyne because I have a hard time finding anything else around here.
