i was under the truck looking at the fuel filter. i seen there is a niple on the sensor part of the fliter what is its function? is it some sort of drain? thanks brian
mines never been drained and the light has never come on on eather of the 3 trucks ive owned, i used to try and just fuel came out so i never tryed again,i find it just an other thing in the way when im r&r ing the fuel filter
If you want to drain it, turn the valve open a bit and press on the bleeder pump. Fuel, or water will spurt out. It's best to put a piece of plastic tubing on the nipple first.
